Jones Lang LaSalle celebrates 20 years in Italy

Thanks to its expertise and transparency, JLL has given an important contribution to the growth of the real estate market in Italy since 1991

Milan, 12 April 2011 -  Jones Lang LaSalle Italy is celebrating its 20th anniversary, supporting property owners, investors and occupiers in our country from two decades; a top quality "local" service supported by the "global" strength of our international network.
Throughout these years, we have always worked with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication, making the satisfaction of our clients a top priority and acting with professionalism and expertise, in line with our values and code of conduct.
The many awards we have received during these years, as the “Best Advisory and Consultancy Firm in Italy" at the 2010 Euromoney Awards, demonstrate how great and constant is our effort to create and deliver real value for our clients.
Today, thanks to our commitment and to that of major international groups like our own, we are in a position to confirm that the Italian real estate market is heading towards increasingly greater maturity.
Pierre Marin, Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Italia said: “Jones Lang LaSalle decided to import its business model into Italy twenty years ago, adapting it to the unique characteristics of this country. In these twenty years, the Italian real estate market has seen its ups and downs, with moments of high growth but also periods of significant difficulty. However, despite this, we have always focused on our objectives and on the direction we had decided to take, always trying to stay a step ahead of the others and become leaders. Consequently, our structure has grown with us, and we have seen our people transform into the high-level professionals they are today, to satisfy an increasingly demanding requirement for real estate services. We can confidently state, therefore, that we have participated in the market’s growth also in terms of professionalism, a growth that has been subsequently fostered through participation in various courses and masters programmes on real estate."
Patrick Parkinson, Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Italia, concluded: “I joined Jones Lang LaSalle nine years ago, knowing it would be an enormous opportunity for me. The brand, the network and the level of professionalism that distinguishes our company were the bases on which to build what we are today and to hold, almost by right, the position of leader. Today, we are a symbol of excellence, competence and utmost professionalism, but we must continue to look forward, confident that we have been effective in these twenty years, but also aware that we can and must do more. And we can enjoy ourselves while doing so, because we are a big team that is increasingly united through a common goal, ready to wave the Jones Lang LaSalle flag alongside the Italian one and that of our market, which has grown and will continue to grow.  Congratulations.”
