Jones Lang LaSalle sniffs out new Italian stores for Marionnaud

Twenty new stores planned with more expansion in 2013

London/Milan, 8 January 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle are helping international perfume and cosmetics retailer Marionnaud with their growth ambitions by searching for twenty new stores in Italy.

The retailer is considering both high street and shopping centre locations as they look to add to their existing portfolio of 120 stores in the country. This will help with their strategy to become one of Italy’s three largest perfume and cosmetic chains.

Simone Burasanis, Head of Retail Agency, Jones Lang LaSalle Italy said: “Marionnaud have an exciting ambition to grow their business. We are equally excited to help them seek out new stores and grow their Italian store footprint.”

James Dolphin, Head of EMEA Retail Agency, Jones Lang LaSalle said: “Italy has a strong global reputation for retail, in particular luxury goods. Milan (4th) and Rome (6th) both rank in the top ten cities of the Jones Lang LaSalle Cross Border Retailer Index. Italy also leads the country nationality ranking for retailers who expand overseas.”
