CHICAGO, Dec. 11, 2023 – JLL (NYSE: JLL) has been recognized by Fast Company on its 2023 list of Next Big Things in Tech. The list recognizes 119 products and services selected among 29 categories including: AI and Data, E-Commerce and Retail, Robotics and Automation, Security and Privacy and others. Carbon Pathfinder is an honoree in the Next Big Things category, Buildings and Real Estate Technology.

“We are thrilled to be a Fast Company award recipient for developing technology that directly addresses decarbonization,” said Sharad Rastogi, CEO, Work Dynamics Technology. “As sustainability continues to be a profound topic of consideration for businesses, communities, and the future of our planet, we constantly strive to leverage data-driven investment strategies to address slowing the effects of global climate change and ultimately improve people’s daily lives.”

To compile the list, Fast Company editors and writers reviewed 1,300 applicants, assessing factors such as relevancy, ingenuity, progress and potential and impact.

Launched earlier this year, Carbon Pathfinder is a decarbonization planning technology that enables companies to forecast their climate transition risk and use data to inform asset prioritization and capital planning decisions. Developed by JLL Technologies, this agile tool powers JLL’s Decarbonization Strategy offering, a consulting engagement that guides clients through a decarbonization journey that builds on a clear baseline foundation, crafts or validates the strategic ambitions through scenario modelling and develops an actionable set of investments and a roadmap for change.
