Why Rome? | 2023

This Report is the condensed version of a wider research carried out by JLL under the title “Why Rome? Re-modelling the City”. The aim was to analyze and highlight a variety of the city’s real estate fundamentals and potentials to identify new growth models for the years to come. We strongly believe that this report represents an opportunity to outline new key drivers for accelerating successful investments in Rome and encourage a conversation with old and new stakeholders, for the benefit of all.

This research identifies the future growth paths of the market in spatial diversification and a widening spectrum of asset classes available for investors thanks to shifting fundamentals and local supply and demand imbalances. It is now time to summarise our conclusions, deliver the outcome of the research and try to answer the question: Why Rome?
